Genealogical Chart of the Principal Forstall or Forrestal Lineages
The genealogical chart below was completed in September 2025 and will appear in The Principal Wills and Pedigrees of the Lords of Kilferagh and House of Carrickcloney scheduled for release in 2026. The chart provides a 400 year overview of the principal Forstall or Forrestal lineages of Ireland spanning the years 1263–1683. A sizeable portion of the source material used for the individuals represented on the chart can already be found in The Lineage of Mullennahone 1571–1855 and The Lion, the Pheon, and the Red-Handed Succession of St. Mullins 1511–1855. However, a dedicated section containing the exact source(s) used for each individual represented in the order they appear will be included in the new book.
